Tainted Researcher is an unlockable character in Beyond, a mod for The Binding of Isaac.

Random active item (consumable slot), after beating Mega Satan
25% chance: pill, 75% chance: card
Description
Starts with the Bookworm transformation.
Pedestals are automatically destroyed into a few consumables.
Items for sale are replaced with Researched Items. Rerolling items in such situations yields the normal items for the room (e.g. shop items in a Shop).
Cannot have Red Heart containers. Any item that gives Red Heart containers will grant a 
Soul Heart instead.
How to unlock?
Complete the Crack the code challenge, then start a run as Tainted Isaac and perform the secret input sequence.
